PorchFests are the next big thing in summer festivals. Across the country, fun-loving communities are hosting PorchFests, grassroots music festivals in which residents host performers on their front porches for a fun-filled afternoon of music. The Black Rock Community Council is excited to be sponsoring the very first PorchFest in Connecticut!

Running throughout the afternoon of Saturday, August 20th, the event will feature live music on porches throughout the neighborhood. Gather in front of your porch of choice and enjoy the music, the people and the scene—all free of charge.

Stay up-to-date with event details here and at http://www.facebook.com/brporchfest.
